about

"VISIONS OF MY WORLD" reflects B-movie science fiction consciousness. It was composed in collaboration with my friend since high school in the 1960s John Bruno from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. I ran lights, did stage and poster designs, and occasionally performed songs with his band The Velvet Myst.

Organ: Vox CONTINENTAL. Effect: Maestro ECHOPLEX.

lyrics

"VISIONS OF MY WORLD"

Visions of my world have returned!
Alone, aloft, aflame, I burn!
Visions of my world have returned!

This fresh evening, this first of May,
Where all my dreams are full of screams,
I hear echoes of dark doomsday!

In the heart of the sun, I was born!
Childhood is the calm before the storm!
Gentle has my chaos been,
My violence, soft as sin.
In the night, my soul has long been torn!

Beware all who ignore my mystic arts!
I’ve been riding destiny from the start!

My eyes blazing like a death ray,
When the new gods unite in me,
I shall conquer the universe!
