"ORIGIN" was the prog-punk set opener for my 1977 tour. Nineteen-year-old guitarist Tim Rimer really cuts loose with me on a guitar and theremin duet during the bridge. My one-year-old daughter Lyric Winona Clark added a small synthesizer part at the end of the repeat of the intro after the bridge.

Moon with pupil arms and the half-man in the sky,
Adorned silver, rushing climate passed me by!

It allows my thoughts to range!

Near below my skin!
Breathe even inside the inchworm!

Where goes constriction?
Where goes social prison?

Cramped in orbit
Above this shattered sphere,
Screeching, skimming
Off the atmosphere!

Stars blur in streaks;
Streaks become nets,
Visual effects

Saturnine and diminutive, dark worlds collide
Deep inside of me as I mount my moving bride!
