"MY PSYCHEDELIC GODDESS" is lyrically a tribute to my closest high school friend Valerie Jones who moved to small provincial Waynesburg, Pennsylvania from urbane Washington DC at the height of the countercultural era in 1967. Musically, it's a tribute to the pioneering electronic rock band The United States Of America who released an album in 1968 that deeply influenced me as a composer.
