"HIHANKARA" (2000) is a neoclassical composition for theremin, strings, woodwinds, and tribal percussion that recreates the story of an elderly Lakota owl woman who guards the entrance to the Milky Way and only lets those spirits pass over upon death who display a special tattoo. My daughter Lyric Winona Clark played the string and woodwind samples.
