about

"CORE" is a gothic horror piece. The music was composed in collaboration with my longtime friend since high school in the 1960s Randy Headley from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. I ran lights, did stage and poster designs, and occasionally performed songs with his band The Velvet Myst.

Synthesizer: Hammond 102100. Effects: Electro-Harmonix BIG MUFF, Maestro ECHOPLEX, Maestro RING MODULATOR.

lyrics

"CORE"

I may be twelve o’clock; I may be six!
I may be honest, but I’ve got tricks
Up my sleeve!

A demon lurks within us all,
And it answers when I call
Its name!

Now, I’ve got it under control,
But its power burns my hold
Over it!

Supernatural feelings,
Twisting, turning, chilling…

Help me!

Rainfall,
Keep your tireless pace,
Wash clean my face
Before the shadow leaves the tower!
